Root My first big problem

I'm not usually one for asking for help but I've done a lot of googling and forum searching but couldn't find a definate answer so here goes.

My problems started a few days ago when I installed GV.The installation went OK,it was only afterwards that things started going wrong.The phone would forget settings,was constantly having to import numbers from the sim card etc etc.I decided to go back to Leedroid but first I gained S-Off with the use of Alpha Rev.I probably did a stupid thing installing AR hboot cause it just seemed to want to reboot after every new app install.

Anyway while trying to install Leedroid I got stuck in a boot loop,tried to go back to GV via backup in recovery and all my data was gone.Went looking for my backup sd and that's gone missing aswell so now if I try to install a new rom (doesn't matter what type) I cant get past the AR boot screen.

Is AR the problem or is it something more serious ?

Bloody hell that was quick :P

Yeah I did a full wipe and now I've got a fully formatted and partitioned sd card so wiping and deleting aint a problem.
 
Did you check your erase size as per my FAQ before rooting, and flash the correct recovery?

Or had you flashed roms before GV successfully?

need a bit of history please.

Yeah SU I'd already flashed a few roms roms without any problems.I followed your guide actually (thanks for that btw).

I've downloaded the original rom that came with the phone.Should I try flashing that first ?

OK I've done a complete wipe,including system wipe etc and I'm up and running again.Thanks so much for your help guys.You've saved my life.She was going mad cause I broke me new phone :P
 
The. riginal Rom to return to stock?

If so its one or the other. Try what I suggested and flash either leedroid or gv (which ever is the Rom you want to run)
