I love the stock music player's integration into the lock screen, however I hate the ugly purple background, so I changed it. Found the appropriate image in the framework-res.apk, made it transparent, and this is the result...

I dislike how the AT&T text bleeds through, but not sure i can do anything about it.

Are you running 2.1? How did you go about re-applying the framework-res.apk after you edited it? (And what did you use to decompile it and recompile it?)
