My first tablet

Hello everyone,

i've finally decided to buy my first tablet! :)

I'd use it for (most important first):

- surf the internet (google, youtube, gmail, facebook) through wi-fi
- look at movies while travelling (so i need some good battery longevity)
- read books
- take notes
- connect to servers through ssh and ftp

The options i have are:

hamlet xzpad 970h -> hamlet website | XZPAD970H - 9.7 -> 80 euros
hamlet xzpad 700 -> hamlet website | XZPAD700 - 7 -> 160 euros
mediacom 855i -> Smart Pad 855i - Mediacom -> 100 euros

WHich one do you suggest me?

Graziee!

Non of them really, these are all off-brand cheap Chinese devices, that often have dubious reliability, support and other serious issues.

If you can afford a bit more, I suggest you get a Google Nexus 7 tablet, or a Samsung, Asus, HTC, Motorola, in other words brands you might have actually heard of or and are known to produce quality products.

If this is your first Android device, you might want to read this forum sticky about the perils of cheap Chinese Android devices.

BTW Hamlet was a tragedy, chances are the Hamlet tablet will be a tragedy as well. :rolleyes:
