My Gmail isn't getting messages pushed! Why?!

My Gmail has always worked perfectly but lately I've noticed that I'm getting emails in Gmail 2-3 hrs after they were sent. Does anyone know why?

I've got Gmail showing up on my laptop and my Thunderbolt. My laptop shows new gmails on time, but I either have to wait a couple hrs to get them on my phone, or I have to manually refresh the phone gmail. Does anyone know why this is occurring? Sometimes the gmails get pushed to my phone just fine but lately not as much...
 
Mine quit pushing at all yesterday. I ended up doing a battery pull this morning and that fixed it. Maybe that will work for you.
 
Try this, menu>settings>applications>manage apps>all

Find gmail then clear cache and data then go into the gmail app hit menu and refresh

Whenever gmail acts up I usually do this and it resolves the issue
