Help my GN turns off suddenly at less than 40% battery

at first sorry about my English mistakes

well
from 100% till 40% charge it works good. but at (about) 40% when i play a game or take a video or surf the net etc... LCD shows huge nose and it turns off
after 3 or 4 seconds! and i cant turns it on again
when i want to charge my phone and turns in on after 1 or 2 minutes my battery is 1%!
plz help me
is my battery corrupted?

Recharge to 100% and use it again. If it shuts down around 40% then you have a problem. A full charge should reset the battery stats.

well i did it more but
it charges until 98% and 100% charge never happen

this problem occur just when i use my cpu very much (e.g game) or browsing but
in normal case it goes until 1%

once it hits 98% it will slowly trickle to 100% and then trickle back down and linger in the high 90's.

Does it gradually work down to 40% and then cut off or does it go to 40% and then stay there for a while before cutting off?

it gradually works down to (around) 40% and lcd become noisy and THE END
and in does when i am playing with my phone
and in normal use it works until 1%!

sounds like a hardware problem or a battery problem. I'd try replacing the battery first, if that doesn't work its got to be a hardware problem like something overheating.
