No negativity is welcome here! There are plenty threads for that.

My Hero rocks because:

Mcr2.2 ROM has made it blindingly fast.

I can run multiple apps at once.

Love the text prediction and long press option keyboard (kiss ass IPhone).

Why does your Hero rock?
 
My hero rocks for pretty much the same reason...AND because it allows me to do so much more than any other phone I've had in the past.

It rocks because it's pretty
It rocks because it's got a great workflow
It rocks because I can get my emails, and texts in a much better-organized format

etc
etc
 
Mine rocks because I can view all my Facebook albums direct in fullscreen landscape.

Mine rocks because this keyboard I'm typing on kicks ass.

Mine rocks because all my homescreens look the bees knees.

Mine rocks because I instantly get all my emails.

Mine doesn't rock because my wife says she's a Hero widow because I'm never off this phone.

This forum also rocks and this post !!!
 
Mine rocks because for the first time ever, I only have to carry one gadget around with me, it does everything I want it to and lots of things I didn't know I wanted it to do.

It rocks because, if I ever start to get bored, I can just take it out and play.

It rocks because I know a new app/ROM/theme is always out there.
 
This is way more encouraging now that I saw this thread haha. I have seen all the negative threads and started to get scared that I bought a shitty phone. It should be here friday so wish me luck!

I laughed good when I read that! Its excactly the same my phone types...Mainly when typing in portraite mode tho... the letters are small then. :)
My Hero rocks because it has everything I need.
 
My hero rocks because....

I can play scummvm games properly like Full Throttle, Day of the Tentacle etc.
I can properly multi-task.
It makes Iphone totting friends secretly very jealous but of course they won't admit it, even though everyone I know who isn't that far up Apple's brown passage says the hero is awesome!
I can have live widgets like tech buzz or mobile buzz or BBC news constantly feeding my thirst for knowledge.
And more besides...

Mine rocks cause its not an Iphone :)

and its open - and no sucker can reject the apps

and its not on O2 :) - biggest Win EVER

with the new orange update - super fast and awsome.. :)

-Thats one of the best points yet.
-open is the way forward.
-the orange rom has helped,
-also i can put it on the table screen down and it wont scratch the screen. the lips is not just so its comfortable to hold.
- it fits in my hand better then the iphone 3gs.
-it has 3g watchdog on it. (market)
-bonsai blast is cool.

-Abduction! (no need to say more - even if i only have a demo of it.)


my hero also rocks cus soon it'll also bluetooth properly... Ecliar (hopefully)
 
I'm excited to hear all this as well... So often the loudest voices are the ones who are complaining and the happy customers/users never say anything.

I'm not a hero user yet but having seen the videos on this site, I will be come Oct 11.
I finally don't have to carry a phone AND an mp3 player (my bb curve's media player was ok, but if it's not as good as the iPod interface, which let's face it, is very intuitive and easy to use, I'm not leaving my iPod behind) 32gb memory card FTW!
 
Mine rocks cause with Open Home Themes it's still lighning fast....

It still keeps on rocking cause Better Keyboard app funks it up........

And Its still rockin' cause its not an iphony:D
 
My Hero rocks, because it is a great phone overall & does pretty much everything I want it to (love the Google integration with Facebook, GMail so easy to set up, etc).

While it may be a little quirky at times & in some ways, perhaps still needing some development, my Hero rocks because it is different & better looking that the iPhone IMHO (plus, I haven't followed the herd of sheep that are iPhone users!)
 
My Hero rocks because I've had it for 4 days and have barely put it down. With the Orange update it's quick enough for me not to think about how quick it is (or isn't). It's nice to be a bit more individual that an iphone user and the most important thing is it has given me loads to do while I'm bored at work.
 
I think it rocks because of the integration with Google. I update my contacts and calendar on Google and about 1 second later my phone is updated - no typing in numbers on a small keypad. That's awesome.
 
My hero rocks because I know that one day with enough searching, tapping and long presses I will finally have my home screens set out to perfection.
 
Despite what I said before the update has improved the speed of the phone and it now rocks!

I sold my iPhone 3G for this phone and am not looking back (apart from the games). But, open source, phone style, contacts linked to facebook, free apps etc etc - all rock!
