Help My lock button isnt wotking properly.

Hello. I am having issues wig my lock button, or the power button. When I try to lock the phone sometimes. Instead of locking, it either does nothing or go into power options as if I long pressed it.now I am rooted with CM7 nightly but I have tried flashing skyraider as well and the problem still persist.

Now I know this means most likely it is a hardware issue but I am wondering if there is any other possible reasons as to why this may occur software wise. I don't have insurance and I don't want to lose my AMOLED Inc. Thanks.

I have a similar problem on a stock phone.

Mine won't wake from standby.

The power switch does nothing to bring it out of standby.

The battery has to be removed, then the phone rebooted.

However, the power switch can power it Off or On properly, and put it into Standby.

My power switch trys to prove the theory that someone can be "kinda pregnant"

Apparently, yours does also....
