Help My music files were compressed.

Seems like Samsung Tablets have a different media format then Mp3, so I was asked to convert my files before syncing, thinking that Samsung would make a copy and convert the copy, but Samsung converted the original media file. So, my music collection which was high def 320kbs and higher is now all 60kbs or lower and no longer MP3. Any ideas on how I can get my music back? thanks Thannks

Hello Chris and welcome to Android Forums. If your files have been down converted and there is no backup... I have no idea how you might recover your original files at their higher bit rate. I'm sure if you do some searching you can find a converter to change your files back to .mp3 format. I'm afraid you'll never recover the lost file information due to the additional compression your files suffered.

I hope another has something positive to lend. I'd like to be wrong here for you and your music's sake.
