My Nexus story

So on Tuesday I get a call from a Verizon store(corporate) and sales rep says they can sell the Nexus on Thursday and that he would set me up an appointment to get one at 930. I ask him if I should just get there at 9 to be safe, but he tells me I'll get one for sure. I tell the guy on probably like 5 different occasions during the 2 minute phone call that I would be buying the phone off contract at full retail. He tells me no problem, and see you on Thursday. So of course I get there on Thursday, and the first question out of his mouth is are you adding another line? I already know where this crap is headed, and I tell him nope I was buying it at full retail. He proceeds to go in the back and comes back out to inform me that he couldnt sell me one at full retail, that they were sold out already. I asked to speak to his manager, and she apologized and said he was misinformed on making an appointment and that they were first come/first serve. Frustrated, I proceeded to Buy Buy in hopes that they had some and in fact they had 3 left. They sold me one, and also price matched to the $649 full retail price at Verizon. Awesome. So, I get home and notice I didnt have a 4g LTE sim card and thus had to go back out, the Best Buy was crowded with customers so I just went back to the Verizon store I went to originally in the morning. And what do I see when I get there, 2 people buying a Galaxy Nexus at the counter! How crappy is that? Basically the store manager lied right to my face, and I always hate to be that guy....but yeah, I called customer service and placed a formal complaint on the store and more importantly the manager. Bush league.
