Root my note will not save apn's after re-start

my note will not save apn's after re-start the phone works great and text find but after a re-start everything works but the internet unless i connect to my wi-fi so each time i restart i have to re enter all the apn info as it will not save how can i fix this problem ? thank you.

Some carriers don't allow you to change the APN. With some you have to discard the existing one and add a new one. If you haven't changed carrier you shouldn't have to change the APN.

its on telus with a koodo sim card,telus owns koodo would unlocking it fix the problem what are my options sorry i'm very new to this.
