My observation while visiting 4G Chicago

OP, glad you enjoyed your stay. Really!
Yeah, we see cell phone equipment on random tops of buildings everywhere, I guess we take it for granted.

Good to know 4G coverage is better in bathrooms than any other part of the house. Good times. :)

if you couldn't tell by my avatar, i'm a die hard sox fan, but my cousin who's a cubs fan had an extra ticket so i went for free. they lost, as expected :D

You know where the signal is really strong? 63rd St and 83 by the Dominicks full four bar 4 G you drive 1/2 mile away and its all gone.

Funny you mention that area; when I had ATT/Ibones, that area was where I ALWATS would lose calls; I had to make sure I wasn't ever on a call over there, as it was 100% certain to lose it..
this went on for 3 years until I dumped them..ATT "Engineers" admitted it was a cellular "dead" zone, and there was nothing they could do about it; funny, with Sprint, its a 4G "hot zone"!
 
I live 3 hours away from Chi town and I travel there maybe 2 times a month. And 4G is freakin awesome. I can get a cool 8 down and 1 up. I might have to move to Chicago.
 
Could anyone post a picture of what they think It looks like? I could not find images on that site.

The tower that I think I get 4G from, looks like a much tighter configuration, with a microwave dish integrated in the configuration...

Wase... I'm "down the road" from you, right off of I-55 and Route 53. I ride my motorcycle in your area regularly, down by the Cal Sag area, and like Dao Sushi right off of I-55 and County Line Rd!

Where is DAO Sushi? My wife hates sushi, so I dont know alot of the local places..I usually only have it when I travel out of the area..
is it in the new shopping center south of i55 on county line?

chicago is a hub for 4g. not only do we have the most towers, but they are developing new ways too.

I put up quiet a few of them here
