They go 16 inning's with the Dodgers in a 6 hour game and still lose by 2......... ended up going to bed at 1:30 this morning.... where's my Coffee :mad:
 
yeah i'm a Dodger fan (sorry)......that game was epic. i was so buzzed after the final out i did not go to sleep until 3am:saddroid::saddroid::saddroid: and i had to be in LA at 830am:saddroid::saddroid::saddroid::saddroid::saddroid::saddroid:

but i had a great time at least. it felt such like a playoff game. i just wish the Giants would start on a losing streak!!!!!!!!
 
I am a big fan of Don Mattingly, probably my favorite player. But Gwynn was from a different planet.
He struck out like 420 times in a 20 year career, that is just insane, absolutely insane.

I'm paraphrasing here but Greg Maddox said of Gwynn:
I know how to get everyone out, except that fudging Tony Gwynn.

P.S. he actually didn"t say "fudging".

I gave up on the game when it went into extra innings. I root for the Padres as well and would have been miffed if I had stayed up to see a loss. Central time zone it was midnight when I gave up.
 
i'm a HUGE Dodger fan and i will say this......I am really starting to really like this rivalry that we have going with the Padres. the last few years have been different then in years past. both teams seem to bring out the best of each other.
