My phone already hit the floor 5 times!! :(

Only fell once BUT fortunately it fell from the bedside cabinet onto the floor (carpet - yay :) ) It fell because I had the alarm on and vibrate was on, so vibrated along until it fell off

Me, never, but my GF knocked it onto the carpet whilst charging:s

I forgave her though...

I've dropped mine once, only a few days before my case arrived :(
I accidentally tugged on my earphone wire and it flew out my pocket, hit the evil concrete floor. But thank god it didn't fall on the screen. It fell on the back, but its actually not bad at all, just a tiny scuff in the corner, thats it! I thought it would be a lot worse before picking it up..

I never dropped mine, I'm always terrified or dropping it and pay extra attention when taking it out of my bag when I'm out, which makes me look like an idiot, but there you go. :o:D

WoW!! glad you folks are testing it's durability thankfully not dropped mine once for here in Spain there are no carpets only ruddy hard tiled floors

5 times ?.what you got flippers?,scotch that!, seals have flippers and rarely drop things.
Thought of getting velcro gloves or a sturdy chain.

hi I seem to have scruffed / scratched both top corners of my htc desire phone.

Do any know if there is a website/hotline where they have replacement parts, I would need the brown cover replaced.

Thanks

Going to give some of you kittens now..

Dropped mine about 5/6 times already just coming up to two months old. it looks more like 8 months old oopps.

replacements parts are going to be needed

It will be interesting to know if you can get spares especially the back panel for those snap lugs do not appear to be very strong if you keep removing the back to change batteries,Sdcard, etc

Dropped mine face down on a laminate floor. The silicone case I have saved it, the screen didn't touch the floor because the case has enough of a lip on it to clear the screen.

5 times? You're not Rob Green the England goalie are you?

lol, harsh :D

Not dropped mine yet, but I'm still in that period of being super careful (this being my first big, glass touchscreen phone), I'm sure it will happen sooner or later when I've lost my caution...

Got a silicone case on it but that's more because my back cover feels so flimsy I don't trust it not to drop off somewhere or snag on my pocket and break off - definitely feels a lot cheaper than the build quality of the rest of the phone (it doesn't quite fit snug, there's a little gap all around so you can press it in and it pops back up slightly and creaks).

really? mine is nice and very snug. There is a tiny bit of give on the back panel, but as you would expect (even a metal back e.g. SEC902 has some give in it). Are you sure it is properly fitted/secured? I know I put mine on a little wrong after I first got it and thought it was poorly made until I realised my own ineptitude (and not for the first time!)

Dropped my once :( And it was enough. It hit the corner of the marble chipped the bezel around the screen on both sides , Its HIDIOUS! does anyone know of any replacement parts coming? I think i can send it of to HTC to be repaired? I also got told about these if anyone wants to take a look - Turning Around Technology - regenersis. The website "Mobilephonesdirect" recommened me them through there live chat.

dropped mine within 24hours of ownership  put a dent in the corner but that was all, I now have a hard gel like case and have dropped it once more and it was safe and sound.

Both times it wasn't so much a drop but it sliding out of pockets, I was so annoyed about the first one, but i can't see the ding now.

Oh and I also have a soft Mofi case for when it's in my back pack.
