When I plug in my phone through USB it wont show up on my computer....whats going on??

Nevermind, I had to change in Applications>Setting from Keis to Mass Storage.

Did you download the usb driver for it?
I had this problem, downloaded and installed the drivers. Then it was working fine. A couple days later my laptop wouldnt recognize my phone. So I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled it, but getting the driver from this website: AT&T Samsung Captivate USB Driver | New At & t Cell Phones
all is working now

Then you're not using a Captivate and you're on the wrong forum.
