Root My roms run smooth for only 2 days...

Hi there,

I had MiRaGe in my phone for a while but had to reset often due to getting slow and crashy pretty quick. Recently I installed Cyanogen Mod 7.2.0 Bobzhome and it worked pretty fine... for two days.

Now I'm back to keys sticking, dolphin browser crashing, the phone reboots often (I have palmary weather on SD card unlinked and I notice the widget often disappears from the top of the screen, though I have actually caught the phone rebooting).

Did already wipe cache and data and reinstalled Bobzhome fresh once again. But again it starts acting up pretty quick.

Is there something else I can do so it runs fine for at least a month? I thought it was MiRaGe what didn't work too well, but apparently is something else.

Wiped cache and data but did you wipe Dalvik cache? Both before and after installing the ROM?

And are you running a widget from the SD card? (Unless I missed the memo, that still doesn't work.)

I wiped everything, cache, dalvik and data.

Correct, it's not a widget but a full app that I purposely keep unlinked to know how frequently my phone has been rebooting itself. Though I have trouble assimilating your sentence.

If it does not work, how is it assumed that something I already did, does not work? Unless you are being sarcastic in an attempt to make me feel a foolish newie.

Your weather app should be on internel ,not on sdcard.

What recovery are you running?

You shouldn't be having all these problems, sounds like your not meeting the prerequisite of flashing a rom.

If you follow this guide to the letter you will not have any problems.

Haven't actually done it but did a quick read to the page and it's what I need.
