i've had this prob ever since i got this phone but recently its been bothering me more than ever. Prob not an android problem but more of a router prob but i can't seem to find an answer anywhere so hoping someone here can help me out. here are the details:
every time i flash an aosp/cm/etc. rom, i have a horrible wifi prob...
at first, it connects to my network and all is well...
pages load, youtube works, pandora works...
within the hour, my phone's wifi connection breaks...
it says connected and i still have the good ol' wifi logo on the status bar...
but pages wont load, youtube wont load, pandora wont load...
obviously, step one is to restart wifi...
i turn wifi off..
i turn wifi back on...
phone can recognize my network but wont connect to it (even if i try manually)...
the next logical step is to restart the phone...
i restart and go into settings...
wifi is on and phone can recognize my network but it wont connect no matter what...
during this time, i can look over at my laptop and my laptop wont connect to the network either...
but my pc is still good to go...
this issue occurs within hours of installing any aosp based rom... sense roms are fine and i get no problems what so ever...
the only way to fix this is to reset my router... after a reset, all my devices connect again... but only to be destroyed within the hour...
this does involve my phone and it seems to be the cause of the prob... an hour after my phone connects, all devices (including the phone itself) lose their connection...
again, sense roms play fine with my router... this issue only occures when an aosp rom is installed
