welp, I can officially report that both fattin tether widget and foxfi are broken on my device with the jellybean update and that I officially hate jellybean.

I've already purchased pdanet+ so will be trying that via wifi and usb tethering route. If they are broken rooting seems to be the final option :/

My S3 updated a few minutes ago. I wasn't aware one was coming. Anyone know what it was about? It still shows version 4.1.1

I know you said never mind, satisfied by a vague T-mobile explanation. But I'm not with T-mobile and I would like to know what was in this 54mb update. I am on a Sim-only deal with Orange (EE)

And why has this thread been usurped by tethering discussions?
