My Samsung Galaxy S22

My phone crashed after falling in water, is there any home remedy? Thank you
do not turn it on. put it in a ziploc bag with some kind of desiccant like rice. fill the bag with rice until it fully covers the phone and leave it in there for at least 12 hrs but the longer the better.

but your phone has a IP68 dust.water resistant rating which means you should be able to drop the phone in water and be ok so long as it does not go to deep in water....ie you should be fine if you jump in a pool and go swimming with it.

We don't know what it fell into: falling in a sink should be no problem, having to be retrieved from the deep end of a swimming pool would be outside specification. And if it has been damaged previously that's the ingress protection done.

That said, if it is undamaged and was only dropped briefly into shallow water you should make a warranty claim, as it should survive that (though you may need to be persistent: I've heard many tales of phone manufacturers taking the line that if water did get in it must have been your fault...).

Hi! It's probably too late to answer and trite, but if there is a guarantee, then you will be replaced for free in your manufacturer's service, or with a big discount
