My take one Incredible 2.

I think my only real grip is the bloat wear, coming from carrying two devices (dumb phone and ipod touch) - i did like the ability to actually delete apps i don't want.

However, I think that is coming. Blockbuster pays $ to VZW, and we are stuck with an un-deletable app. Sounds like the future sadly.

Not blockbuster's future, I feel they will go the way of movie gallery and almost every other movie rental brick and mortar store

So my question is "would you do it again?" I have the opportunity to upgrade from a Dinc to a Dinc2 or TB for almost free but would move my next upgrade from 2012 to 2013. Trying to decide if the incremental improvements over the Dinc make it worth it to move my next upgrade out another 12 months.

Any input you have would be greatly appreciated.

I would definitely do it again! To be honest I was very happy with my Incredible and could have stayed there, maybe even root it for some enhancements but I really appreciate all the little refinements. The things I appreciate the most are the larger screen and improved battery management. Everything else is icing on the cake. It is hard to imagine what the latest tech will offer 2 years from now but you can be assured that LTE will be the norm and the new handsets will be awesome.

I have never rooted any of my devices but I am looking forward to rooting this one. My only knock against this phone is Verizon's apps. I don't need them and I don't want them. It's standard procedure for providers but if they really listened to their customers I think they would do away with them. If they made a compelling app people would be happy to get it from the Market.

One thing that sort of alleviates my frustration in the bloat-ware is using LauncherPro, the ability to hide unwanted apps so you don't have to look at them in the app drawer. I know they're still there, but until there's a root method available, "out of sight, out of mind" will just have to suffice. The Blockbuster one on particular chaps me, their only store went out of business a year ago in my town, so that leaves me thinking... "seriously?"
