Root my tf300t hangs.."booting recovery kernal image"

somehow lost root (probably due to an update..lol)
i used sparky root the first time around and my pads been good for nearly 2 months..recently, i just noticed i lost root ???
when i went back to their site, they warned that builds of .17 .26 and .29 wont work with their rooting software :(
i went hunting and found a different way using THIS , and everything went well....
1) unlocked bootloader with asus unlock software
2) used cmd prompt in win7 to "install" recovery.img with fastboot
3) ran pad in some "mode" by pressing power and vol down to enter clockworkrecovery <-- this is where im STUCK!!!

be advised, im a fast learner, but this is my 1st tablet, and i dont really know programming...VERY MUCH A NOOB!

the tablet just hangs with the message "Booting recovery kernal image" ???

Note: before doing steps 1 and 2(above), i entered this "mode" and all i kept getting was the android with the blue spiraling thingy and then he was on his back with a red triangle!? <- this stopped once i did steps 1and2 :)

but like i said, Im stuck...ANY IDEAS?
