My Thunderbolt Review

Ok, I have had my TBolt since launch day and so far I fricken LOVE IT! I droped 2 contracts with Sprint due to their lack of coverage, and I couldnt be happier that I did. I can actually sit in my house and make a phone call now! Go figure! LOL

Anyway, I have not noticed any of the problems other people have listed. My battery life is pretty dang good I think, since my last android phone the battery would crap out sometimes in like 4 or 5 hours on it. Though I AM running 3G only around here too. I DID however make a short 15 min drive over near the Memphis Airport just to check 4G out. It was fast as hell! I even got my old phone that happen to still be in the car and powered it up, flipped on the wifi and the moblie hot spot. I was running 2 phones on you tube at the same time. I TRIED to make the video studder and it wouldnt. I was jumping around in the videos going to the end. . . then back to the start and the video just picked up from whatever point I chose. I also noticed for the 20 mins or so that I was messing with 4G my TBolt got really hot too.

But yeah. . . . I dont live in a big 4G coverage area but I still got the Thunderbolt and I love the shit out of it! LOL

on 3g battery is always good, 1400maH is more then enough for a full day on 3g. 3g speeds are not bad on this phone either I get around 1.5mb down average and 2mb in best case scenario while on the iphone 4 I was capped at .6 or .7mb, although I am in the 4g area.
