Root Myn 2.2 Gingerbreak keyboard

Is it possible to get the gingerbread keyboard right now im running myn 2.2

if so, could someone please fill me in.

Yes. Go over to the XDA HTC Supersonic thread (or any Android thread on XDA) and search for Gingerbread keyboard. There are many different ones that is why I didn't point you to a specific one. You can install via apk or flash. The differences are colors themes etc. They work on Myn's 4 and 5. Love them and that is what I use after the novelty of Swype wore off.
