New to the forum. Just trying to figure out the mystery icon on my Samsung Fascinate notification bar. Im sure I will get the hang of this place soon enough but right now.... Im working on it.
ANyway, diagonal square with a plus sign in the middle? any ideas?

Verizon rep says this is a new icon for GPS. The icon represents a GPS enabled gadget and can appear regardless if the GPS is on or not. They stated it will always be there now. I simply hope the GPS works better now.

I didnt see the thanks button on the guides reply but thank you very much for the prompt answer.
Im always messing with new apps and i wanted to make sure im not doing anything that is going to cost me more money! ; )
