Help MyTouch 4 (Android phone)

I have an Android phone. I set up the Microsoft ActiveSync and am now able to receive my work emails on my phone.. YAY...BUT... when I reply to an email I receive, it goes *poof* - - not in sent, not in outbox, not in drafts... and the person I reply to doesn't receive it. When I go onto my computer to check the sent items, it isn't in there either... any ideas why??? Plz help!
