Help N1 Car Dock

It's available for purchase. I just did.

I don't see anywhere that it has a phono jack on the desktop dock...is that right? I know that it's got built in speakers, but I could care less about that and would much rather steam it to my car.
 
I just wish I could get these accessories somewhere locally. For the Canucks, we get hit with customs =S. Not fun....
 
WTF? You can't use a bluetooth headset when docked! Because it connects to the dock via bluetooth for sound (speakerphone)..... I'd much rather keep to my bluetooth headset. That sucks. And why so much $$$????? $55 seems excessive. Should be more like $30. (An yes, I think the Desktop Dock is overpriced at $45 too, but I bought one with my N1 anyway!).

I dont think the phone HAS to pair with the dock when it is in it.
 
I want this and the desktop dock. Being in the UK I do not want to pay shipping on such a small item. I wish someone in the UK would stock these :(
Here goes contacting my Chinese supplier for details on copies or originals :D

Also, looks like you sync with the dock for audio from the dock. If you don't use the audio from the dock a bluetooth headset would pair no problems. But I'm wondering if the speaker is blocked by the dock giving them reason to provide 'external' speakers.
Would also like to know if the headphone jack is obscured. Otherwise, Dremel time!
 
It is excessively priced; but i just bought one. I just put my TomTom 630 on ebay yesterday because ive only been using my nexus (and damn is it better).

Traffic alone is awesome; the traffic on my Tomtom and my old Garmin was so often wrong it was almost worthless.

Now if they just come out with a sirius App for android, i can ditch my radio too and clear out some clutter in my car.
 
the best part is that the car home app is useless anywhere other than the states since that is the only place turn by turn navigation is supported...

There's already a hack for turn-by-turn for UK.. it works!!

And, really really weird when I drive up to the wife's house, it ends with a photo of the guy opposite's house... weird huh- bet he doesn't know!! Think these computers will catch on??

I live in the US, so im ok with that and if im traveling im probably getting a rental with GPS; non issue for me at least.
