Help N3 ear speaker isn't loud?

Could not be.
There should be ways to disable the software limit on the hardware and add gain if you want to root it.

I know you can with bluetooth and speakerphone and headphones on the note ii and every other android device I have messed with.

But I have never tried the earpeice speaker.

I assume you have the volume all the way up. If not just hit volume up while in a call of course.

I meant holding the N3 on my ear VS the IPhone not using wired or wireless headsets

I initially had the same issue - volume all the way up but the ear speaker was not that loud. Then I figured out that I was not centering the phone's ear speaker directly over my ear! Next time you're on a call, move the phone around - typically for me I needed to shift the phone in an upward direction. Once I did that I figured out it was more than loud enough!

Every time I put the head phones on, the Note 3 doesn't allow me to raise the volume. Do you all know why? Thnx
