N64oid by Yongzh

yep, its a bug with the atrix or something. I tried it on my captivate and it worked fine. What I did (but is somewhat uncomfortable) is set "A" or whatever accelerate is to the volume up button.

Or even better, connect your wiimote + nunchuck to your phone and play with that!
I have the same problem on CM7 for other apps!

Grrr. Wonder if it's something that can be fixed with updated versions of N64oid? It's not a TERRIBLE inconvenience to just let off the A button every ten seconds or so, especially for what I'm getting. Still...

I think that if you feel like Yongzh is ripping you off by charging for his app, I think you should request a refund via email. Or if you have constructive criticism, then you can share it here or email Yongzh directly.

Can I get Yongzh's email?

The emu runs great on my fascinate but it crashes every 5-10 minutes. It's been doing this since the emu came out. I hope Yongzh fixes this problem

FYI if your rom(s) is/are running slow.. go in to settings / audio and video setting / max frame drop.. set it to 4.. and things should speed up

3 seems to be my sweet spot. Don't know why I didn't think of that! SSB runs so smooth now

I have the frame skip off on my Vibrant running trigger 2.7 rom with the overstock kernel and everything run smoother then with it on and set to any level.

I'm running y Droid X at 1.2ghz and Mario kart/Starfox are running almost perfectly smooth.

The secret? Turn the frame skip to zero! It seems that a lot of the lag and crashing issues are due to the frame skip. Save states now work for me as well, before they would lock up the phone.

Is it just my phone, or me being stupid, but can anyone else do the summersaults in Star Fox on the virtual keypad? The V + C<- combination doesn't seem to be working for me.

Kirby 64 lags but is still playable.
Zelda games lag at some parts but not too bad .
If only Pokemon stadium would work..

Has anyone else tried Mortal Kombat Trilogy on the N64oid? It causes my phone to freeze and reboot. Other games run ok...

I will give that game a whirl when I get home on the Xoom. The Mortal Kombat games are by far my favorite on emulators.

By the way, using the wiimote is a necessity on these games. Its near impossible to play goldeneye without it. Although, I have still yet to find a button combination that works well.

Any update on when the "full release" will be on the market again? I heard "mid-May", but it's kind of past "mid-May" now, and I haven't heard anything new.

I emailed Yongzh a couple of weeks ago, as of 9 days ago this was the most recent update from him:

"I am trying to fix a background texture issue (they may not get updated properly). Hope I could make a release by the end of this month. Thanks!"

Rather than start a new thread I thought I would necro this old one to let everyone know that the 2.4 update for N64oid is out - multiple bluetooth controller support with true analog controls via Bluez IME. Awesome.

Now to round up a posse for some 4 player Mario Kart 64 here on my HDTV - Transformer + 2 Phonejoys, Datel Retro Wireless, and PS3 controller sounds like a good time...

Sweet, after some issue with the Slideme update I've finally got it all sorted! It is amazing - can't believe 2p split screen Mario Kart runs at full speed!

If you own more than one compatible BT controller this is simply incredible - I will try it with four players sometime soon with my Transformer (Phonejoy original, Phonejoy analog, PS3 controller, Datel Retro Wireless controller).

UPDATE: Super Smash Brothers works perfectly on this new version of N64oid. That is epic. I have some trash-talking local multiplayer sessions ahead of me!

Still some issues on the newest version, such as the Spy Cam issue in Perfect Dark, I keep getting "black screen" issues with 1080 and WCW/NWO Revenge on a Galaxy S2 =/

Donkey Kong 64 is unplayable due to clipping issues.

From 2.0.1 version till this newest its still same, during install there allways message: App was not installed. shouldnt i before install some drivers like OpenGL-ES or something?
