Just found this spot and after a day of powering through my Basics Guide to the HTC Hero there are a "few" troubling challenges to be polite. Is there someone over there who can walk me through the Better Keyboard Installation? :confused: All I seem to get is the set up part and yes, I have paid for it!
I'm missing something and &*^$&%$&*^( if I know what. Have yet to find any installation in instructions searching Google.
Here's hoping someone has been there and done that and can send me to the right place.

just need to go into phone settings Locale ...
Menu | System settings | Locale & Text | check the box for Better Keyboard and use the other pull-down option for the specific BetterKeyboard settings
 
Thank you all for replying, I wish I could say this solved my problem. I have been through the Local and Text option many times. Have had no positive result. Still looking and staying calm. Stay warm and dry.
