Help Naming Your Device

Greetings...

An Android noob here...bought an Acer A500 today running v3.0. I went searching for a place to give the unit a name, "my pad" for example, but have found nothing. Google searches, documentation, etc, nothing.

Any thoughts? Can this be done.

I'm not familiar with your device, but you could probably assign it a Bluetooth name (menu/Settings/Wireless & networks/Bluetooth settings).

I say where you can name it and Ii did it for mine and that is what shows on the screen by the clock I dont have it on at the momnent and Im heading to bed but i will post back tomorrow and tell you where I found it .

Under settings location and security owner info you can type in info to be seen on the screen I don't know if that is what your looking for.

Hey buddy I were found out how but Im not try it yet if u want do like this :

Go to Media Server -> enable share -> then you can name you device there .
