Root nandroid backup not being detected i think

so from what i understand i think i made a nandroid backup through clockwork recovery mod

it seems like it worked fine except it was taking up alot of space so i decided i would just keep the actual backup folder on my desktop and if i did actually need to use it i would put it back on my phone.

when i tried put it back in the clockwork recovery folder. it didnt list it as a backup when i tried to restore it

so basically i have the backup how do i restore it if u get what im saying

Did you just put it in the clockwork folder? The actual backup location is clockwork\backup\XXXXXXXX (The X's being your backup).

thanks that was a pretty noob question i had put in the clockworkmod folder

not clockworkmod/backup
