Root Nandroid backup/restore problem

Hello, I've been lurking these forums for awhile until I finally got my own Triumph. At some point during customizing/ modding my phone I messed something up. I tried doing a nandroid restore using the file found here on the forum but I keep getting

-- Installing: /sdcard/Update.zip
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.

Summary of problem: It wont turn on and goes straight into recovery mode, or sometimes just bootloops. It varies depending on what I try to do to fix this problem.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I've googled for hours and searched here on the forums and could not find anything that works. I don't want to exchange for a different phone because I have a lot of personal things on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

you have to put it in a clockworkmod folder and click restore and it'll go there and list your options.

Any chance of getting detailed instructions on Backup/Restore of the Triumph of the stock mod so us noobs won't screw anything up worse whilst rooting around? I've downloaded the 3 roms on the stock thread and am not sure about what the difference is between "cwm-recovery-fb0-v2" and the "Stock_Recovery" mods are and how they're used. I know the Stock_Triumph_1980-01-06.00.00.34 mod is the stock backup but not sure if it is an exact backup of everybodies Motorola Triumph. Sorry, but I guess everybodies gotta be a noob before they can fly Triumphantly!

"Stock_Triumph_1980-01-06.00.00.34" is the stock Nandroid backup of all Motorola Triumphs.

To use it mount your sd card into your computer.

extract the folder from within the 7z file

copy the folder into the Clockwork Mod Recovery folder on the sd card

boot your phone into recovery mode

go down to "backup and restore"

choose restore, then just go through the rest of the options clicking yes if you want to fully restore your phone, or no if you dont.

Have a question... I did the "Stock_Triumph_1980-01-06.00.00.34"restore and everything seemed to work with one exception - my start up and shut down animations/sounds were the same as before. One of the main reasons I tried this restore is because my shutdown animation/sound got all messed up. I was hoping this would put EVERYTHING back to stock. I misplaced my shutdown animation/sound backup I made Anyway, does anyone know of a way to get shutdown/start up animations/sounds back to "stock"? Thanks in advance....
