Ok so i am running out of room on my sd card, I want a new sd card and (i have one picked out on amazon) but it might be a little bit before i can get it so yeah i need to get stuff off of it and my nandroid backups are taking up a lot so i copy them onto my computer but could i delete them off my phone...and when i do that how can i get it back on to my phone and restore it if i have to?

You can delete them off of your phone if you really want to, you can always just usb and move them back, if you get stuck and can only get to recovery or hboot, you can still usb toggle and move them back, you could also use a card reader to get them back on the card. I would leave some on the sd card to save hassle but there is almost always a way to get them back on the phone even if your phone is effed.
