Hi All,
I'm using my Evo as a hotspot with my 4g connection. Great speeds.
Unfortunately, when I connect my XBOX to it...only certain features work correctly online with my XBOX. It says I need to change my NAT settings, make it less strict. I believe this involves opening ports. If I was on a normal computer with a router I could figure out how to change it...but the EVO is giving me problems.
I called sprint customer service for help: I talked to a woman who asked me "...well are you trying to connect to a PS3 user online...maybe that's why it's not working...?"
Needless to say...she wasn't much help.
I then called HTC and the guy said he didn't know what we could do but he said I could try EasyTether from the App Store.
Unfortunately EasyTether doesn't support the hotspot capability of the EVO.
Anyone have any input on how I can address this?
Much appreciated
(P.S. I've come and gone over the past year...asked 3 questions but never really contributed to the board. Sorry about that...don't mean to be rude...but I get caught up in life)
Best,
Moore
