Native tethering not working with custom kernal

ok here is the problem im having when i flash a rom and a stock kernal my native tethering and hotspot through setting work just fine no problems but anytime i have a customer kernel it breaks my native hotspot and it no longer works it will turn on but wont keep the 4g connection but when i flash back to the stock kernel the native hotspot works just fine again is there any fix to this at this moment in time.... ***fyi im able to use wifi tether app no matter if its a custom kernel or stock kernel

try using a widgetsoid toggle widget. There is something different about how it turns on the tethering. It wont bypass a subscription, but it bypasses some part of the authentication process which makes it turn on faster and also able to turn on while data is turned off. It's what I use and I pay VZW for a subscription.
