I have the vehicle nav dock with rapid charger/aux audio cable. My problem is that I have the dock by the A-pillar and want to bury the cable in the dash but it's not long enough to reach from the A-pillar to the center console where my aux power and aux audio sockets are. Can a regular micro USB extension cable be used with that cable?

Nav Dock with charging cable extention cable?

In theory it can. Results will vary. I personally use an aftermarket charge with my phone and it charges fine. I would think that a usb cable coupled with a usb car charge should work. My sister uses the usb car charger with her oem cable for her android phone and it charges just fine. However too long of a cable may or may not cause issues. I have my car dock by the A pillar as well and run my cables under my steering wheel. Yes it looks cluttered that way but it works
