Help Navigation problem

Atrix4G

Newbie
My Atrix won't connect to the navigation program that comes with the phone. All is says is looking for navigation availability and just stays on the screen just searching. Anyone else have this problem or can help me fix it.

Thanks

Same happened to me, all you have to do is to uninstall and reinstall it... :)

either go to the market place and click on the menu button, select Google maps and then uninstall it. Or you can just click and hold the Google maps icon and drag it down to the middle (trash bin).

Same here, cant get the nav to work. Maps work and my location gets shown on the map correctly. However, when running the nav application, (blue triangle icon) it just spins for ever. I too, do not see the nav icon in the task manager to uninstall it. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, I think I know whats going on. Maps is the navigation app. The "blue triangle icon" does not seem to be an app. When you launch "maps" you can also use that for voice navigation.

Anyone know how to import nuvi way points to atrix. When I had a nokia phone i simply put a file called "current" from the nuvi GPX directory (i think) and somehow the google maps (and my phone garmin app) all recognized the file and showed my list of favorites (way points). I tried to simply copy this file into the atrix hoping that somehow it would find it but no cigar.

@falafel - fwiw, I had the same nav problem. I was able to fix it by finding Google Maps in the market, and then clicking update (it prompted me to update rather than install). Afterward, the "blue triangle" app worked like a charm. Hope this helps.
