Does the Droid X have the navigation like the Incredible does, or do I HAVE to use VZ Navigator, because I'm not paying another 10 bucks a month.

Yes. Navigation is part of the Android system (specifically, Google Maps). It is indeed on the Droid X.
The latest version of google maps adds navigation. Once installed there is a new" navigation" app in your app tray. Once installed you can also access it from the google search window by voice which ia nice.
Just press mic button and say "navigate nearest mcdonalds," or "navigate 123 oak street, anytown, state." For turn by turn. Others have been reporting problems but I haven't had any so far.
