Root NC screen won't turn on

Hey, I just flashed to phiremod 7 and it was running fine for a while. Then it locked up, so I just left it for a bit. The screen turned off and now I can't turn it back on. Neither the power button nor the N button work. I'd appreciate any advice.

I'm running phiremod and clockwork off the eMMC.

Try a long press on the power button - long enough to force the unit to completely power down rather than just sleep. Wait for a few seconds, then see if it will turn back on normally.

Mine has also started doing this randomly. PITA, but at least it's easy enough to recover from.

I believe this is what's referred to as the sleep of death (SOD).
Mine does that every now and then also, maybe once per week. As long as it's recoverable and it doesn't happen regularly I don't have a huge problem with it.

Yup, SOD.

I only had it once. Try having your wifi turn off with screen-off (under wifi settings).
