......Hello my friends!
On my galaxy S2 I am running I9100_4.4.2_AOSP_NeatROM_v3.10 with CWM-KitKatCompatible-i9100.
I like it but I haven't found it very stable. For instance, today, my phone stopped working and turned off after a call. I am sure it is my fault but anyway, I would like to go back to a more stable Neat ROM. For instance, XWMS3 NeatROM Lite v5.9 Aroma (4.1.2).
I am a NeatROM lover, using it from the beginning and now I need some help before starting to flash my i9100.
So, I would really appreciate if you could help me with the needed the steps to install that ROM replacing the one I have now.
Do I need a new recovery or KitKat compatible is OK? If I need it Which one and how should I install it?
yes. latest philz recovery
After that How do I make a Full Wipe to clean everything before installing new ROM?
flash philz recovery, reboot recovery (not device), wipe data/clean to install a new rom
Is XWMS3 NeatROM Lite v5.9 Aroma (4.1.2) the one you would suggest to me for a fast, long lasting battery and stable version?
yes
If before installing this new ROM I format data, cache, system and also internal SD card Would I lose anything important (besides pictures, etc) to put my phone into risk?
only mods and user apps
Thanks to you all. I will be expecting your answer in order to flash my phone.

After reflashing I9100 AOSP NeatROM v3.10 (4.4.2) I have an update from SlimOta telling me to download v4. Should I download it and install it or not?
If installed Should I also reflash GoogleApps?
Many doubts, many questions.
Thanks!
wait neatrom v4
After 3 days on I9100 AOSP NeatROM 4.6 I can say that it is quite good, quite stable, and I had no particular problems (no reboots, no battery drain...). I am on dalvik, as advised by Sale, and this is probably the reason to have significantly more positive experience in comparison with AOSP NeatROM v4.2.
My only trouble at the moment is that the CPU Spy reports that Deep Sleep is an unused CPU state (see the screenshot) and the CPU stays in 200 MHz most of the time. Is this normal?
Any hints on this?
Thanks,
Ivan
I had GSam Battery Monitor but didn't know how to interpret what I saw there so, it was the MediaScannerService that was keeping it awake. The strange thing is that even in with this wakelock the battery was still OK-ish: 50% down in 24 hours. It's not normal. Install BetterBatteryStats and leave phone for few hours to see what's preventing your phone from deep sleep.
You can try GSam Battery Monitor alternatively.

Sorry ironass that I couldn't interpreter your English humor ,am Spanish and our humor is more direct and picaresqueI don't care what they say about you Sasa, old mate! You're a blooming star as far as I'm concerned.
(Edited for volimte who was worried that I was being rude to Sasa... it is only English public school humour in using reverse psychology to compliment an old friend without seeming to be a sycophant.)
