After 4 days on the XWLPY version I've had the problem again - It seems to be when I'm travelling. The 1st problem happened when I'd driven for about an hour & I noticed it again last night.
I went to a gig about 45 mins away & everything seemed fine. I was using my phone at the venue but when I got back home there was no signal again. I decided to see what happened overnight & the signal was restored when I woke up, so not sure whats happening.
On another note, I'm randomly having my camera flash come on for about 1 second at a time. I've noticed it at various times & cant pinpoint whats happening to cause it to come on. The last time it happened was when I plugged my phone in last night. Very weird
Install the "No Signal Alert" if you want to monitor the signal losses. Will log the events related to signal loss and the place where happend (if the function is enabled). Most important, the alert function which will sound an alarm whenever you lose signal.
I use to have a lot of drops, usually during the calls, which was annoying as hell (3-5 times a day) and had to restart my phone most of times to get back to the network, all the other solutions: flight mode on/off, reset network, were useless.
Tried to replace the modem files, using the different versions provided by Hawker (thanks again), without result.
After a clean install of XWLPY (format+Hawker`s ROM Nuke and kernel wiper) seems the problem is solved around 99%. There are still some network drops but very short (quick reconnection) usually when I`m driving and for sure I`ll not be noticing them if the alarm will not come on. Best thing....no more dropped calls.
Best of luck
