Neat ROM

After 4 days on the XWLPY version I've had the problem again - It seems to be when I'm travelling. The 1st problem happened when I'd driven for about an hour & I noticed it again last night.

I went to a gig about 45 mins away & everything seemed fine. I was using my phone at the venue but when I got back home there was no signal again. I decided to see what happened overnight & the signal was restored when I woke up, so not sure whats happening.

On another note, I'm randomly having my camera flash come on for about 1 second at a time. I've noticed it at various times & cant pinpoint whats happening to cause it to come on. The last time it happened was when I plugged my phone in last night. Very weird

Install the "No Signal Alert" if you want to monitor the signal losses. Will log the events related to signal loss and the place where happend (if the function is enabled). Most important, the alert function which will sound an alarm whenever you lose signal.
I use to have a lot of drops, usually during the calls, which was annoying as hell (3-5 times a day) and had to restart my phone most of times to get back to the network, all the other solutions: flight mode on/off, reset network, were useless.
Tried to replace the modem files, using the different versions provided by Hawker (thanks again), without result.
After a clean install of XWLPY (format+Hawker`s ROM Nuke and kernel wiper) seems the problem is solved around 99%. There are still some network drops but very short (quick reconnection) usually when I`m driving and for sure I`ll not be noticing them if the alarm will not come on. Best thing....no more dropped calls.

Best of luck

Hello Salesale,
I am a Galaxy s2 user from India. I see that both Hawker and Ironass use your rom. Presently I am running Supernexus JB rom on my phone. My question is , what benefit will i get if i flash your rom? Would it be worth it to go back to an ICS rom from a JB rom? and will you be releasing a JB rom?

I've done a green theme for Neat XWLPY.

Includes loads of green themed stuff including
15 textured lidroid quickpanel toggles
smooth animated battery icon during charge (tweaked by myself to flash the %age at the end of the sequence)

As usual, I recommend you take a CWM backup before flashing.

My XWLPY Green Green Grass Theme

I never use it. Its just a quick reboot of the ROM without reloading the bootloader/kernel etc.

You will need to install either Sale's S3 Mods before flashing this theme, or install 4-way reboot from Aroma mods after flashing the theme to get this feature.

Looking leurrrrverrrly butty!
:smokingsomb:

I have steadfastly refused to move from NEAT LPI to LPY because, IMHO, the jump isn't that great and I did not want to lose all the benefits of JKay.

However, NEAT LPY + Dorimanx + your GGG theme with its multiple toggle Notification bar and transparent Status bar make the transition a lot less painful is it incorporates many of the features that JKay offered.

Also the theme itself is very clean and easy to read and is without any of the fuss and fripperies that these youngsters go for... a bit like, "Go Faster", stripes on boy racers cars.

A couple small, teensy, things... I think it would have looked nicer if the centered clock was not themed and if the signal bar was 6 and not the truncated 5, bars, (I'm undecided about whether the Wi-Fi signal should also be themed or not). Just a personal preference. However, beggars can't be choosers! ;)

Right you are beginning to do my loaf in now old man!
:banghead:

Does this float your boat?

What. no themed Wi-Fi signal! ;)

I don't know... you make one small, constructive, criticism that'll only take an hour or so to put in and load up and he comes over all diva like.

I did say, "Beggars can't be choosers", On the other hand, one rousing chorus of, "Men of Harlech", and you'll have done it. :)

Whats the difference between Neat Rom Lpy and LPI and UHLPY and Xwlpy etc? (hope i got em right) And why o why is my Jelly Bean Rom (Supernexus) not as smooth as Neatrom Lite? So mates, should i be using neatrom instead of going with the jelly bean fad?? :D

Different version numbers. One is Android 4.0.3 and the other is 4.0.4.

And why o why is my Jelly Bean Rom (Supernexus) not as smooth as Neatrom Lite?

Two reasons possibly. There has been no official release of JB for the SGSII as yet and so all JB ROM's are on un-official sources.

Salesale, of NEAT ROM, is a very good developer.

So mates, should i be using neatrom instead of going with the jelly bean fad??

That's a bit like me asking you... "Should I drink Bacardi or Gin?". The answer is surely... whatever you like best. ;)

See... that wasn't so hard now was it Hawker?

NEAT LPY + GreenGreenGrass theme with centered, un-themed, clock and themed Wi-Fi + Apex Launcher.

Now, if you can just crack on with the Power button menu that gives Screenshot at the top and includes Recovery... I'd be really happy! :vroam:

This thread is getting hornier by the minute :p

/puts the phone on vibrate - ahhhhhhhhhhhh

Again, it's a thank you from me, but one small well meant thank you from me is worth a thousand moanings from ironass right? :D

Hang on a minute! It's me that kicks the miserable old boy into gear!

Otherwise he would just sit there and rest on his laurels.
