I use the stock calendar app, but i use the smooth calendar widget. gives me my next three calander appointments, color coded with which calendar it came from, personal, holiday, or the google calendar that my better half and i share.
Having been disappointed with the standard calendar, I've just installed Calendar Pad (recommended elsewhere on these forums). It is excellent and allows a wee to view which I didn't get anywhere else. I understand the pro version give a few more functions and may allow you to have multiple sources.
