Root need a tiny bit of assistance...

So I just flashed uber bamf preview pr2, and it comes stock with the old Market....I was wondering two things...

1. How do I "save" or preserve the APK for the old market, (basically just to have) and where can I obtain the new Market apk to install on this ROM??

prolly the best bet would be to just make a nandroid of the whole thing,so you can just restore it if you want the old market back.

you can try using root explorer to manuver to system/app and copying "vending.apk" and then pasting it somewhere on your sd card so youll have it for later.

just be careful,you can accidentally goof up things if you accidentally delete things,or change permissions while using root explorer.

also,i have not always had success with removing and resinstalling the market app. sometimes it seems to work fine,sometimes it will just force close and i end up reflashing gapps(on aosp roms) or restoring a backup to get it working again.
