need advice on TB

O.k. So, I have a TB, and was lovingit , but now not so much. Here's why. Ever since doing the latest update on Monday, my Thunderbolt is fried. So, needless to say, I have to get a new one. However, I'm thinking of getting a droid charge instead. After I did the update, I lost 3g, 1x and all date connections. They tried everything to fix it and it cannot be fixed. It will cost me a fortune to buy the charge, but will it be worth it, or should I just give the TB another chance?
 
I say give it another chance. Why spend more when you don't have to. Your second TB could have no problems with the update.
 
Have you downloaded the 4G toggle app or calling *#*#4636#*#* and making sure it is on "CDMA + LTE/EvDO auto"?

Also have you switched out your 4G sim?
