Help Need For Speed

Hi guys,
I've got a slight problem with Need for Speed. I originally had a Desire and installed NFS without any probs. I've now got a Desire S (with 2.3) and tried to install NFS, which allows me to go through all the motions,lets me play the tutorial but when I try to play in a career I get an error about memory,change icf settings. I have .99GB space free of internal memory and nearly 4gb on my sd card. Any suggestions?

Without knowing what the full error message is, it's impossible to say. Have you tried doing a soft reset by removing the battery for 30 seconds? This will clear the cache, so if it's a cache related memory problem, this might help.

If the error is referring to internal memory, then it's probably a bug in the app itself. There may be a work-around by either reloading or avoiding doing certain things within the app/game.

Try Googling the exact error message and you might find other people have come across it before.

Hi,
I tried what you said about the battery and it worked. Didn't give that a thought as it was a new phone and the first time i'd tried the game, and didn't think that there would be a cache problem. Anyway, thanks for your advice.
