Sir i am using HTC droid incredible 2 with android version of 2.3.4, HTC sense version 2.1 software version 6.04.605.07 710rd but i want to update its android version. i am getting confused how to do it because by clicking Check new in software update setting it gives me network problem.. please let me know about the whole procedures what steps to be taken for updating it...

That's about all there is to it if you're looking for an official update.
You must be connected to verizons network for their updates to work.
If your still having prollems,try a factory reset. After that,you may need to call vzw customer service.
If you want to update using a custom.rom,you'll need to root the phone and install a custom recovery. You can then flash a new os,and make/restore backups

i would call and speak to an operator. sounds like you have an issue that cannot be handled via the automated system.
