Need Help: Accidentally deleted Google Talk

so, after i upgraded my Motorola Fire XT531 to ICS 4.1, i accidentally deleted Google Talk. I have no idea that it was required for downloading apps in the market. Here I am now, hoping for some helps and tutorials on how to reinstall Google Talk.apk. It's not in the market and I cant download either because of Google Talk being deleted. I would appreciate any of your help guys. :(

You can get it here

If you're rooted you can flash it via recovery. Otherwise you should be able to install the .apk file using a file manager. Just copy it to somewhere within your file system.

Ok so you haven't rooted it then. Google talk should be installed as a system app & shouldn't be deletable. I suggest you go to the forum for your specific phone and ask again there.

no, i have rooted my phone already. and i have upgraded also my phone to ICS 4.1 from JB 2.3

the reason i guess why the Google Talk is gone maybe because when i tried to move it to SD Card. when i restarted my phone, it's gone. and now this is my problem, i cant install it back unless i have a proper tutorials to follow :/

You can't install it.. You copy it into your system apps folder, then restart your phone and it will install itself during the restart.

Reflash your ROM .zip file from recovery. There is no need to wipe any data because it's the same ROM.

That will re-install any missing system apps like talk.
