Help Need Help! Incredibly strange!

Weird thing happening. Im pretty sure I got an email just as I was powering down my phone to bump charge. Now every time I turn off my phone I get the email notification sound and then again when I turn the phone back on. I tried pulling the battery and waiting a few min before installing it and that did nothing.

I am hoping someone can suggest something before I have to do a hard reset.

I has to do with the SD Card insert/remove notification. That happens on reboot and shutdown. Menu, Settings, SOund and DIsplay, turn off SD Card Notifications.

I dont remember ever changing that but that could have been it. I got impatient and just did the factory reset (also had a few little issues that needed reset).

But thanks for the info, now I know what the SD Card Notifications are.
