tell me what you want to unlock, if it is the sim lock, i have found this two option in the secret menu:
secret menu code: ##5473784236368 + SEND
enter you SPC
go to an option called ICC Activation Setting and select "Activation Off"
then, go back and go to the botton and select NETWORK LOCK, uncheck it.

After that you'll be able to use the phone without the sim card, or with another one but it will be not of any use, a least for me.

Now, how you managed to edit the PPP configuration on your LG and get 1x?

I am tried to setting my Metro PCS MS770 in Bangladesh network, can you please help me for how to setup/active my number in this phone in Bangladesh . The network is Citycell (CDMA).
My MEID is: **mod removed**

IMHO you might be able to do some things to fix this if you rooted...

There is a file located at:

system/etc/apns-conf.xml

This file contains all of the APN settings for MetroPCS. I would imagine if the phone is unlocked that the APN settings may still be read from this file. Someone with more knowledge than I may be able to shed some light on this situation.

With a lot of search and a lot of changing settings i managed to get 1x , now of course i want 3G!. If some one can come up with an idea it will be appreciated.

Men firs thing you need to do is change NV Item from 1 to 0

Then go to settings ##LGSERVICEMENU go to the bottom where it says "Network Lock" and unchek it.

Once it is done you should be able to program the data settings and get to go.

I recommend you to use DFS

I met with your first post referred to the same problem, I also used QPST, DFS, QXDM to attempt to modify the PPP Configuration, when I reboot mobile phone, the PPP Configuration is restored.Now the mobile phone can only call and SMS.

Glad to see you have recently solved the problem, can you help me?
You said: firs thing you need to do is change NV Item from 1 to 0. Is it means:in DFS, copy the NV ITEM_1 value to NV ITEM_0? I tried, but NV ITEM_0 is the value of ESN, the same is locked.

I have the same problem as windyq. I am trying to flash my LG motion to Page Plus and got voice working but not data because the PPP settings don't stick after a reboot. I've been using DFS. Can anyone tell me what I have to change in DFS so the PPP settings stick?
