Root Need help on HD Reboot

Hi all

I used the Advance Ace Hack kit last week so I could use a Vodafone Sim in my Desire HD Orange locked phone. Been working fine.

Tonight, stupidly I installed ClockworkMod, backed up my phone to the mem card then tried to flash to Absolution 3.6.

Phone rebooted and was stuck on white HTC screen

Tried to reboot the phone by removing and repalcing battery, press volume key and on, now when this happens it vibrates 3 times and the light flashes amber.

Any help please?

From wot i can find, its something to do with Qualcomm service mode

just to check, are you holding the down key volume button when you start the phone

Hi

It is yes, after loads of attempts I have got into the menu, maybe the button is dodgy, i know when i press it sometimes using the phone it seems to stick.

I got into the clockword recovery menu and its doing a restore of my original backup.

If you're having issues with your physical buttons, it could be worth installing the most recent clockwork - it is a touch version, so could help!! :)

Fair enough mate... it is worth thinking about though, all the same... it would mean using the buttons less, so extend their life (not that I think you'd be shortening it by much using them, but it all adds up!! :)
 
Hi, I have htc desire hd, yesterday night i switched my phone off and in morning when i switched it on, it vibrate 3 times and then blinking orange light continually with black screen and every time i have to put my battery out. but when i insert the power cable in then i see recovery mode screen for a while but i can use any option there after a few second again black screen. can any body tell me what i have to do to boot my mobile normally.
i have rooted my phone a few weeks ago and after that phone was working good.
i have tried every thing like pressing down volume key and start key but same.
any help please?

Unfortunately, I have seen this problem mentioned many times, and it seems like the only way to fix this is to send it back to HTC. As far as I remember, it's a motherboard issue.
