So this morning I decided to flash MidnightRom senseless and for some reason decided to recover data from my mobster rom 2.56 backup. Since then it has been bootlooping on the white htc screen. I tried wiping everything and reflashing but that does nothing. I tried wiping everything and flashing the mobster rom again, still nothing. Even restoring my backup of mobster rom doesnt fix it, as it keeps bootlooping. my evo v is rooted and s-off with juopunutbear hboot 1.57. Is there anything i can do to get it up and running again??

just to make sure... did u use the wipe everything except sd-card in recovery???
or did you just format/factory reset??

Just to make this clear if you restore data your also restoring dalvik cache which means your not wiping caches between Roms....... This most likely caused your boot loop
To prevent this always wipe cache and dalvik cache before you boot up a New Rom
PS if all else fails flash the RUU
